Over the years we have provided the data that is digitallyOBSESSED!.com in may ways. We have had a 24-hour radio station playing sound track music. We have created applications that display the reviews and quotes. We have created editions compatible with various devices over the years... remember Palm? Now we have a book version in .epub format that showcases some of the interesting reviews and commentaries of this year.



Among his many reviews in 2012, Rich Rosell takes on the timeless classic Children of Paradise (and quotes our editor Debi Lee Mandel's own take on the film). Another of our top reviewers, Chuck Aliaga lends several fine reviews including his encounter with the inimitable Charlie Chaplin in The Gold Rush. Ross Johnson added an ecelectic group of reviews to the site in 2012 and Jesse Shanks also provided a variety of takes on discs released this year.

Two of our best reviewers from the past popped up again on the site this year. Jon Danziger accepted the assignment of reviewing the infamous Sunset Boulevard from Paramount. One of our all-time champion reviewers, Mark Zimmer, wrote up the Criterion release of Hitchcock's The 39 Steps.

2012 was the 100th Anniversary of the disastrous sinking of the Titanic and collected here are four different reviews of DVDs that tell the story of the event. Also collected are three different reviews related to the cult classic Dark Shadows and the new re-imagining of the franchise.

Our hit-and-miss commentator Joseph Burke provides some of his snarky commentary on some of the media trends of the year.
