DVD Review HEARTLESS
A weird, engaging, criminally underseen import, this is a great vehicle for Jim Sturgess. There are plenty of shocking twists and turns that take this story to some extremely dark places.
A dangerously addictive online game, a wondrous mysterious tale, a chilling tale, a vivid and bizarre imagination, and a sensual drama are titles coming from the indie entertainment outfit.
It's so great that The Criterion Collection continues to release their standard definition releases on Blu-ray, and the decision to put all of their Stan Brakhage collection into one, amazing Blu-ray package is their best move yet.
DVD Review CALIFORNIA DREAMIN'
Veteran character actor Armand Assante could use a bit of a career boost, and, given all of the international awards and acclaim this film has received, it might just put him back on the Hollywood map.

DVD Review PIERROT LE FOU
The strength of Criterion's previous release of Godard's pulp crime masterpiece makes the decision to upgrade to Blu-ray a tough one—until you see the image transfer, that is, and head to eBay to sell your old copy.
