It is rare when something lives up to the hype. Downton Abbey is Golden Globe winning, Emmy winning and everybody is talking about it and making fun of it. It is a phenomenon that is found on public television. It is simply great fun to watch. Highly recommended.

PR Masterpiece Classic: Downton Abbey Season 3 (Original U.K. Version) on Blu-ray & DVD Jan 29

The return of the hit sensation and its all-star cast, along with the addition of guest star Academy Award-winner Shirley MacLaine, is sure to increase interest in the already phenomenally popular series. The DVD and Blu-ray feature the original U.K. edition of Season 3, more than two hours of bonus video and will be available a little less than three weeks prior to the airing of the finale on PBS.
