In 1997, the Digimon franchise was launched, evolving from a popular digital toy to an adventure-packed feature film, multiple TV series and more. Fast forward 17 years and the Japanese retro creation has continued to build on its international popularity. One of my favorite De Palma films is properly Criterion-ized in 1080p.

Highly recommended.

He may not be prolific, but as a director each of Terrence Malick's films stand as uniquely rewarding sensory experiences, and this 1998 adaptation of James Jones' anti war novel is no exception. With Criterion's exceptional 1080p transfer and rewarding extras, this may very well be "the" release of 2010.
