DVD Review BROOKLYN'S FINEST

On paper, this film has a lot going for it, including a strong ensemble cast. Unfortuntely, the reviews weren't stellar during its theatrical release, but critics have been wrong before.

DVD Review DAYS OF HEAVEN (BLU-RAY)

An absolute visual treat from the opening frame to the last, Terrence Malick's Days of Heaven gets the BD treatment from Criterion and the result is an exceptionally beautiful transfer that gives this hardscrabble American classic its finest presentation yet.

Highly recommended, and another addition to my Favorites of 2010 list.
