I like the premise of this sexy Cinemax anthology quasi-noir series more than I like the actual eps themselves, which is essentially attractive women taking control of various nasty situations, as well as being nude most of the time. They don't call it Skinemax for nothing.

DVD Review FRINGE: THE COMPLETE FIRST SEASON (BLU-RAY)

I initially came because it had J.J. (Lost) Abrams name attached to it, but I stayed for the bizarro mythos and the absolute joy of John Noble. It's unfair to coldly label this an X-Files clone, because the unfettered weirdness of the writing easily sets this one its own two legs.

Highly recommended.
