From legendary creative team of Aaron Spelling (Charlie's Angels, Beverly Hills 90210) and Leonard Goldberg (Hart to Hart, Starsky & Hutch), Fantasy Island premiered in January 1977, and became one of primetime TV's most popular series in TV history. Starring Ricardo Montalban (Star Trek: The Wrath of Khan) and Herve Villechaize (The Man with the Golden Gun) as the unique leading characters, the series entranced viewers with tropical settings, engaging storylines, and kept fans hooked with its weekly parade of recognizable name actors throughout its successful seven-season run.
