LOS ANGELES (August 29, 2012) - October 5, 2012 will mark the 50th anniversary of the release of The Beatles' first single, Love Me Do, which launched this foursome's stellar career. Nearly five decades later, The Beatles are still captivating audiences everywhere and are considered the most influential musicians of all time, according to Rolling Stone. Along with their musical legacy, The Beatles left behind personal stories with those lucky people who were able to share a moment with these legends. On October 2, 2012, to mark the anniversary, Cinema Libre Studio will proudly release Beatles Stories, a documentary that captures cherished stories from famous fans - and the not so famous - from around the world, about their unique encounters with these often imitated, but never duplicated, international stars.

To coincide with the DVD/digital release date, the film will make its official theatrical premiere on Tuesday, October 2nd at the Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles, with future showings to be announced. Director/ Producer Seth Swirsky, an accomplished singer-songwriter and best selling author, grew up in the 60s and fell in love with The Beatles. They greatly influenced his decision to pursue a career in music where he is known for writing the international #1 hit Tell it to My Heart by Taylor Dayne and Love is a Beautiful Thing by Al Green. Swirsky is also a multi-award winning solo recording artist and a founding member of the 60s-influenced band, The Red Button. In 2004, Swirsky was thrilled to be invited to perform at The Cavern Club, which the Beatles made famous so many years ago. With guitar in hand, he jumped on a plane. While in Liverpool, Swirsky began asking the locals about The Beatles. To his surprise, these strangers shared their fondest recollections about the band; treasured stories he had never heard before, which he captured on his hand held video camera. Swirsky then wondered, "How many more stories are out there that people have never heard before?" That was the moment that BEATLES STORIES was born!

Over a period of eight years, Swirsky traveled around the world filming an exceptional array of people - many themselves celebrities - who wanted to share their stories. Sometimes the stories even found him. Some of the featured storytellers include: Sir Ben Kingsley, Smokey Robinson, Brian Wilson, Henry Winkler, Jon Voight, Art Garfunkel, Davy Jones, Graham Nash and many more!

Songwriter Seth Swirsky grew up in the 1960s idolizing the Beatles - their songs, their sound and their style. In 2004, he set out, video camera in hand, to talk to people who had crossed paths with his heroes. From Sir Ben Kingsley to Sir George Martin, and Beach Boy Brian Wilson to astronomer Brian Skiff, Swirsky filmed hundreds of personal recollections from people who knew them well to those who just had an unforgettable encounter.

Others who shared their recollections of the Fabs include: actors Henry Winkler (aka "The Fonz") and Jon Voight; former Beatles recording engineers Norman "Hurricane" Smith, Ken Scott, and John Kurlander; musicians Smokey Robinson, Jackie DeShannon, Graham Nash, Davy Jones, Susanna Hoffs and Art Garfunkel, among dozens of others.

Swirsky found stories in unexpected places, getting Beatles' intimates to open up - neighbors, tour mates, business associates, and even former girlfriends - telling stories you've never heard before! Longtime Beatles friend and personal assistant, Tony Bramwell, calls Beatles Stories "A Magical Mystery Tour de Force."

Featuring: Luci Baines Johnson. Tony Bramwell, Iris Caldwell, Chris Carter, Ray Crump, Rod Davis, Jackie DeShannon, Henry Diltz, Jack Douglas, Bob Eubanks, Mim Flynn, Art Garfunkel, Frank Gifford, Justin Hayward, Susanna Hoffs, Mark Hudson, Jim Irsay, Larry Kane, Sir Ben Kingsley, Steve Kipner, John Kurlander, Denny Laine, Nancy Lee Andrews, Ray Manzarek, Sir George Martin, Joey Molland, Graham Nash, Rick Nielsen, Peter Noone, Jack Oliver, May Pang, Jimmy Pou, Smokey Robinson, Paul Saltzman, Cathy Sarver, Jerry Schilling, Brian Skiff, Norman 'Hurricane' Smith, Victor Spinetti, Jon Voight, Klaus Voormann, Mitch Weissman, Bernie Williams, Brian Wilson and Henry Winkler.
