July 22 2014- On August 26, the second season of the 1980's classic Television Series, "The Equalizer" is presented for the first time on DVD, courtesy of Canadian based Visual Entertainment Inc. Following Season II will be the premiere release of a Box Set encompassing the entire series (1985-1989). These DVDs will include all episodes and never before seen bonus material. "The Equalizer," will be available for purchase directly through Visual Entertainment Inc., (www.vei.tv), Costco, Walmart, Amazon and Canadian retailer H.M.V. at the suggested price of $29.99 for Season II and $99.95 for the box set.

In the fall of 2014, Sony & Columbia Pictures is releasing a feature film of the same name based on the series starring Denzel Washington as Robert McCall, Chloe Grace-Moretz and Melissa Leo.



Season II of "The Equalizer," was produced in 1986-87 and features 22 episodes with a running time of 1059 minutes. Audiences can look forward to Hollywood guest stars such as; Kevin Spacey (House of Cards), John Goodman (Alpha House), William H. Macy (Shameless), Christian Slater (Mind Games), Melissa Sue Anderson (Little House on the Prairie), Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire), and Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad).

"The Equalizer" Box Set (1985-1989) contains 30 discs and features all original 88 episodes of the series plus an additional 12 hours of bonus content for a total of approximately 84 hours. It also features the original music of Stewart Copeland of The Police. This series has an IMDB rating of 7.7, received the Golden Globe for "Best Performance by an Actor in a TV Series," and was featured in the 2013 Award Winning Movie, "The Wolf of Wall Street." Guest stars included in the box set; Joe Morton (Scandal), Vincent D'Onofrio (Full Metal Jacket), Macaulay Culkin (Home Alone), Laurence Fishburne (Matrix), Ving Rhames (Mission Impossible), Cynthia Nixon (Sex and the City), Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina the Teenage Witch), Chris Cooper (American Beauty), Meat Loaf, Tony Shalhoub (Monk), Stanley Tucci (Hunger Games), Oliver Platt (The Big C), Jennifer Grey (Dirty Dancing), and many more.
