(June 1, 2009) – Experience gut-wrenching and heart-pounding action when Sony Pictures Home Entertainment brings the thrilling uncut feature-length movie of Crackle.com's dark and gritty internet sensation, the digital online series, Angel Of Death, to DVD on July 28. Starring actress and renowned stuntwoman Zoë Bell (Death Proof), Lucy Lawless (Bedtime Stories), Doug Jones (Quarantine) and Ted Raimi (Spider-Man 3), the DVD contains an all-new movie version of the series and is packed with exclusive bonus features. It will be available for $24.96 SLP.

In the spirit of Grindhouse, Kill Bill and Sin City, Angel Of Death was created and written by acclaimed Eisner-award winning comic book author Ed Brubaker. Brubaker is known for writing Captain America, Criminal and Daredevil.

Angel Of Death reunites Aussie actors Bell, Lawless and Raimi, who worked together on the hit television series "Xena: Warrior Princess." Bell played Lawless' stunt double throughout the long run of the series.

The never-before-seen movie makes its broadcast debut on Spike TV July 25, just before the DVD hits store shelves.

Directed by Paul Etheredge (Buried Alive, Hellbent), the Angel Of Death series premiered on Crackle.com March 2, 2009, with over five million views to date.

SYNOPSIS

Angel Of Death tells the story of Eve, a cold-blooded assassin (Bell), employed by a ruthless crime family. When she suffers severe head trauma on the job, Eve begins to hallucinate, and becomes haunted by her victims. She's driven to seek revenge on those who originally ordered the hits – her mob employers.
