DVD ReviewWith Advanced Aerobic Striptease, Carmen Electra continues on her brave mission to teach women everywhere to dance like strippers with the third release in her Strip Your To Fitness series. And the good news is that even if you don't know any women dying to learn this ancient art, then at least you can watch the hot teacher impart her vast body of knowledge.
As with the other installments, Electra is operating under the assumption that all of this is perfectly normal, that the fine points of the lap dance have some large-scale health benefits, but I think we all know who the target audience is, and it isn't women looking to fine tune their bump-and-grind skills. But that's ok, because Electra is indeed a beautiful woman, and if she wants to show how good she looks bending over a chair, so be it.
After a warm up, Advanced Aerobic Striptease covers two primary chapters: a sexy dance while dressed like an uptight librarian (the cover refers to it as "sassy") and a lap dance while wearing a man's hat, shirt, and tie. Both techniques are presented with the obligatory instruction phase, and then with a more polished run through segment. Electra offers all sorts of tips along the way, making it all seem very easy, except that unless you have a body like hers the effect just might not be the same.
As exercise, this may or may not be what the doctor ordered, but it beats watching grass grow. I know this is fundamentally wrong, but I just don't tire of watching her gyrate, and since she does it so well and seems so happy to be doing it, I feel it a great disservice if I don't study her movements as carefully as I can.

Image Transfer Review: Advanced Aerobic Striptease has been issued in 1.33:1, though the "runthrough" segments are presented in nonanamorphic widescreen. Detail is soft around the edges, though colors and fleshtones look pleasing. Nothing to necessarily write home about, this is still a nice looking—but soft—transfer.
Image Transfer Grade: B
Audio Transfer Review: It's a basic front-centric 2.0 mix, and the forgettable instrumental tracks (offered with a choice of three different musical styles) sound clean. Electra's instructional commands are clear, sounding evenly mixed.

Extras Review: Extras include a brief interview (02m:19s) with choreographer Robin Antin and fitness expert Michael Carson. Carson's effusive comments get a bit frothy, and this plays out more like a commercial than an interiew.
Also included, as before, is a short photo gallery, broken down into two sections: B-Roll and Routines. Each naturally features a handful of images featuring the lovely Carmen Electra.
The disc is cut into seven chapters.
Extras Grade: C-
Final CommentsIt's more voyeurism disguised as exercise, but I'm not complaining.
