A Final Night with George W. Bush. Filmed at the Cort Theatre in New York City, Ferrell inhabits one of his favorite political characters from his days on Saturday Night Live, performing a 90-minute, one-man show that takes viewers on a semi-sentimental journey through the life, legend and legacy of the recently unemployed 43rd U.S. President. The DVD, with bonus features, will be out in stores from HBO Home Entertainment on November 3, 2009.

Taking on Bush's Texas-Connecticut childhood, his academic and social career at Yale, his stint as a Major League Baseball co-owner, his emergence as a political figure and governor, and his cherished, if checkered, tenure in and out of the White House ñ Ferrell's high-spirited caricature shows that the ex-president turns out to be a hell of a lot of fun to hang out with (New York Post). The exclusive HBO presentation of Will Ferrell: You're Welcome, America. A Final Night with George W. Bush is executive produced by Marty Callner, Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Jessica Elbaum; directed by Marty Callner.

After starring on Saturday Night Live for seven seasons and earning an Emmy® nomination, Ferrell quickly established himself in films with hits like Elf, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby and Step Brothers. In 2007, through their company Gary Sanchez Productions, Ferrell and his long-time collaborator, Adam McKay, launched FunnyOrDie.com, an award-winning site that has become one of the top destinations for comedy on the web. The Broadway show Will Ferrell: You're Welcome, America. A Final Night with George W. Bush, which broke box office records at the Cort Theatre, was also directed by Adam McKay (co-executive producer with Ferrell of the HBO comedy series Eastbound & DownSM ).
