Arlington, Va. - February 23, 2012 - PBS Distribution today announced it is releasing Solartaxi on DVD. What began as a childhood dream for Louis Palmer is now an epic 18-month adventure that spans the globe in a home-made car powered exclusively by the sun. More than a few have embarked on an "around the world" adventure; some have even completed it. But no one has ever done so powered exclusively by the sun. This DVD will be available on March 27, 2012. The program has a running time of 60 minutes. The suggested retail price of the DVD is $24.99.
