Washington super-lobbyist Jack Abramoff came to town to start a revolution but ended up running a racket. Capitol Crimes follows the Abramoff money trail from Indian casinos in Louisiana to sweatshops in the Mariana Islands, from the Capitol Hill offices of the U.S. Family Network to the Moscow offices of Russia's new oligarchs. Following Abramoff's trail before the fall, Capitol Crimes shows how Abramoff's greed swept up others in the process, including the majority leader of the House of Representatives, Tom DeLay. The two-hour documentary features bestselling author Thomas Frank (What's the Matter with Kansas?) and longtime Congress-watcher Norman Ornstein.
