After making his network debut on NBC's "The Tonight Show" with Johnny Carson in 1981, Anderson went on to make numerous talk show appearances and create popular cable stand-up specials. Louie Anderson's career has spanned over 30 years, beginning with one of his earlier roles as Maurice in Coming to America, alongside comedian Eddie Murphy. Anderson is a two-time Daytime Emmy(R) Award winner for his hit Fox series "Life with Louie," based on his childhood experiences, and has authored the bestselling books "Dear Dad - Letters From An Adult Child," "Goodbye Jumbo...Hello Cruel World," and "The F Word: How to Survive Your Family."
